VALCORE maintains working backyard composting bins at the site and conducts free composting classes. Classes are held in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. Call (707) 55-EARTH for the current schedule of classes.

VALCORE also maintains four backyard composting bins. Yardwaste and kitchen wastes are added periodically. Each bin is at a different stage of composting. Finished compost is available for those who want to dig it out. An active earthworm bin is inside our cargo bin. Kitchen wastes are routinely added and vermicompost is harvested as needed.
